2 Days from Fes to Fes via Merzouga desert

We will start this 2-day tour from Fes, the old imperial city of Morocco, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains via Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland) and Azrou, where we will explore the famous cedar forest. We continue through Midelt towards the Merzouga Desert, where you will enjoy a camel trekking experience in the Sahara and spend the night in a Berber desert camp. The next day, we return to Fes.

1st Day: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After meeting at the agreed location, we begin our journey southeast through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, and in Azrou cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you can see Barbary monkeys. We continue south through several towns, with opportunities to see nomadic families along the way, before arriving in Midelt for lunch. The journey then continues along the beautiful Ziz Valley, with panoramic stops to enjoy the scenery. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day. You will climb the high dunes to watch a magical sunset, then continue to your desert camp, where you will spend the night in a Berber tent. Enjoy a traditional dinner, followed by music and drums around the campfire under the stars.

2nd Day: Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fes

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, we begin our journey back to Fes. On the way, we pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils, as well as Errachidia, Midelt, and Azrou, where we will stop for lunch. In the evening, we arrive in Fes and drop you off at your accommodation.
