Discover the famous “Blue Pearl” of Chefchaouen, ride a camel across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, and spend a magical night under the stars in a desert camp. Explore the dramatic Todra and Dades Gorges, and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in the vibrant imperial city of Marrakech.
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
We will pick you up at the agreed meeting point in Tangier and begin our journey through the scenic Rif Mountains. Passing through Tetouan, we continue to Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most charming and picturesque towns, nestled in the mountains. Enjoy free time to explore its blue-painted medina, lively square, artisan shops, and cozy cafés where you can have lunch. In the afternoon, we continue towards Fes, where you will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.
Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Camel Ride)
After breakfast, we depart Fes and head south through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and Azrou. We stop in the cedar forest to see the Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Continuing to the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Tizi Ntalghamt pass, we reach Midelt for lunch. Then we travel along the spectacular Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and dramatic landscapes, passing through Errachidia, Erfoud, and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga. Here, you will enjoy a refreshing mint tea before starting your camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Ride through the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes and arrive at your desert camp in time for sunset. Spend the night in a comfortable Berber tent, enjoy a traditional dinner, and listen to local music around the campfire under a star-filled sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast continue your journey. We pass through Rissani and Erfoud towards Tinghir, where you will visit the impressive Todra Gorges, known for their towering canyon walls. After some time to explore and walk through the gorge, we continue to the Dades Valley, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we drive through the Valley of Roses and Skoura, famous for its palm groves and kasbahs. We continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa.” Next, we visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, the largest and most famous kasbah in Morocco, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After exploring the site, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m), stopping for panoramic views and a visit to an argan oil cooperative.
We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, marking the end of your tour.
