Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
We will pick you up at the agreed meeting point in Tangier and begin our journey through the Rif Mountains, passing by Tetouan. We arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City,” nestled in the mountains. If time allows, enjoy a short visit through its charming medina, full of artisan shops, cafés, and picturesque streets. In the afternoon, we continue to Fes where you will spend the night in a traditional riad with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Fes
After breakfast, you will explore Fes with a local guide.
Discover one of the oldest and most fascinating cities in the world. Walk through the narrow streets of the medina, visit the Royal Palace, the famous tanneries, traditional pottery workshops, and artisan quarters.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in the heart of the medina before returning to your riad in the afternoon.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast, we head the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then continue to Azrou to visit the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, we continue to the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907 m) and along the Ziz Valley with its impressive palm groves. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where you will begin your camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a magical sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes before arriving at your desert camp. Dinner and overnight stay in a Berber tent under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, we depart towards Rissani, known for its traditional market. We continue to Tinghir and visit the impressive Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest in Morocco. After lunch, we drive through the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. In the evening, arrival in Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic locations in Morocco. We then continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), stopping for panoramic views and a visit to an argan oil cooperative. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in a riad with dinner and breakfast.
Day 6: Marrakech – Airport Transfer
After breakfast, you will have free time to explore Marrakech at your own pace, including the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
