We will start this tour from Marrakech to sahara desert. And through the High Atlas mountains via Ait ben haddou Kasbah. Ouarzazate we will visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, Draa valley, down to Sahara desert, Camel trekkin in Sahara.
Spend the night in the berber tents, and we will get back on our way to Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora Desert
After breakfast, we will start our journey դեպի the southeast, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and traditional Berber villages. Our first major stop is the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortified ksar, with its stunning kasbahs, has been used as a backdrop for many international films since the 1960s. You will have time to explore the village and walk up to the hilltop for a panoramic view over the entire ksar.
We then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will have lunch near the historic Taourirt Kasbah, an important symbol of the region’s cultural heritage. After lunch, we head further south, crossing the Tizi n’Tnifift Pass (1710m) and passing through Ait Saoun village, once part of the ancient caravan route linking Morocco with Timbuktu. We reach Agdez, the starting point of the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and traditional villages. The journey continues through striking pre-Saharan landscapes until we arrive in Zagora, a small town with historical ties to the Saadian dynasty. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a camel trek at sunset, riding through the desert to reach your camp. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night under the stars in a comfortable Berber tent.
Day 2: Zagora Desert – Agdez – High Atlas – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Afterwards, you will ride the camels back to meet your driver and begin the journey back to Marrakech. Along the way, we pass again through Ouarzazate, where you will have free time for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue through the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech by the evening.
